Preeclampsia: Nutritional Factors, Environmental Toxins: Prevention & Treatment

Preeclampsia in pregnancy is defined by systolic blood pressure levels greater than 140 or diastolic pressure greater than 90. In addition to elevations in blood pressure, other common clinical findings of preeclampsia may include: proteinuria (elevated urinary protein), elevated liver enzymes, edema (fluid retention), headaches and visual disturbances. Preeclampsia can cause several pregnancy complications, including
